Liberia – Namibia Prediction (09.10.2025)

With just two games remaining in World Cup 2026 qualifying, Liberia and Namibia meet in a crucial clash that could define the race for second place in Group H.

Liberia fighting to stay in contention

The Lone Stars sit third with 11 points from eight matches, having recorded three wins, two draws, and three losses. Their campaign started poorly but improved after mid-stage victories over Sao Tome & Principe and a 2-2 draw with Malawi. Despite flashes of promise, Thomas Kojo’s men continue to struggle defensively, failing to keep a clean sheet in their last five games. At home, they’ll look to attack through Ayouba Kosiah, who scored twice against Malawi, but they must remain compact to avoid being exposed by Namibia’s pace on the break.

Namibia aiming to protect playoff spot

The Brave Warriors occupy second place with 15 points, having lost just once in eight matches. Their solid defensive record — only four goals conceded — has been the foundation of their success, while star striker Peter Shalulile leads the line with four goals in qualifying. With Tunisia almost unreachable at the top, a draw would likely keep Namibia in control of the playoff position.

Given both teams’ recent form and history — including a 1-1 draw earlier in the campaign — another stalemate looks the most probable outcome.
Prediction: Liberia 1–1 Namibia
Tip: Draw (X)
